Why do I need my car detailed?
Your car is an investment and for some people a representation of themselves. Protecting your car from the elements and general use will add years of life to your car and ultimately save money in the long run. Should you choose to sell your car you will be able to get a better price for it!
What is a ceramic coating?
Ceramic coating is a form of paint protection. Derived from Silica (Si) commonly described as SiO2 once properly applied to paint can add a depth to paint you would not believe. Ceramic coatings are extremely durable but are not bullet proof ceramic coatings will protect your paint but they will not stop all scratching or paint maring.
Whats the difference between wax/ceramic/sealants
The biggest difference is that most forms of wax are naturally occurring. Carnauba wax are derived from Brazilian Carnauba palm trees. Wax typically last 3 months before needing to be reapplied. Sealants and Ceramics and made in a lab and offer anywhere from 6 to 12 months of protection.
You put ceramic on my car. Why do I need a maintenance wash? I thought it was good for one year?
A maintenance wash will restore your car back to the day you picked it up from me. The ceramic coating I applied to your car is working and is still protecting the paint underneath. The coating is still subject to get and make the car look dirty but I promise the paint is protected. If you don't want a maintenance wash from me I would recommend any TOUCHLESS automatic car wash, but please do your research. I can typically perform a maintenance wash in less than 4 hours.
What is paint correction? Why do I need it?
In most cases the paint from the factory of a brand new car is already marred with scratches from assemblers building it. No car is perfect but paint correction or machine polishing can correct those imperfections. To be clear you do not need a paint correction but one is required if you want an amazing finish to your ride. Typically there are two options for paint correction. A one step is generally a polish, that has no protective qualities. A two step correction is needed to remove the majority of swirls, scratches, oxidation, water spots etc.
How often do I need my car detailed?
While a full detail is not needed as much as you think I would recommend maintenance washes in between. When the protection I put on your car stops beading you are ready for another total refresh.
